Transcription
Know all men by these presents, that I John Bengstrom of South Fork Township, County of Modoc, State of California, have this day claimed and appropriated and do hereby claim and appropriate for the general purposes of irrigation two hundred and fifty (250) inches measured under a four inch pressure of the waters flowing in the South Fork of Pitt River in said County. In order to further establish this my said water right, I give notice that I will divert and take said water from said river at a point about 1½ miles above the place where the County road crosses the said river in or about Section 4.
