Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Dozier of South Fork Township in the County of Modoc State of California have on this 13th day of June A.D. 1877 claimed and located three hundred (300) inches to be measured under a four inch pressure of the water here flowing in the South Fork of Pitt River for purposes of irrigation stock and other domestic uses and purposes on the following described tract of land to wit: NE quarter of Section 9 in Township 39 North of Range 13 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.

Notes: Second claim by Daniel Dozier (first was on Hot Creek earlier on page 71). This is for South Fork of Pitt River. Ditch commencing on south bank of said river about one to one half miles or three abouts North East of the SE corner of said NE quarter of Section 9. Ditch three feet wide and three feet deep and one and one half feet deep. Continues from page 77 to page 78.
