Notice of Appropriation of Water. hereby claims Sixteen Hundred (1600) inches of water, flowing in Owing Creek, sometimes known as O'Neil Creek, in the County of Modoc, State of California, measured under a four inch pressure.

Dam impounds flood waters in depression of Secs 29, 30, 31. TWO major ditches: south ditch serves land south of creek via Sec 25/T45N R13E; north ditch serves land north of creek via NE quarter of NW quarter Sec 19, T45N R14E. Witnesses Robt. L. Weir, W.C. Mulkey, Walter E. Bryan. Notice posted on board 12 inches wide, 4 feet long, driven into ground in a substantial manner.
