Know all men by these presents, that we Zedekiah Stout and Albert Stocks of Surprise Valley, County of Modoc, State of California, have this day claimed and located and appropriated for the purpose of irrigation and for general farm uses five hundred (500) inches, measured under a four inch pressure, of the water flowing in Deep Creek in said Valley, County, and State.
