Know all men by these presents, that we James Roberts and Jacob Watkins of Goose Lake Valley in the County of Modoc, State of California, have on this 1st day of May A.D. 1877 located and claimed all the waters flowing in the Stream known as Laving Creek for purposes of Irrigation, Stock water, and other domestic uses and purposes.
