That we Joseph Even and Luke Hultkey, have on the 30th day of October A.D. 1872, located and appropriated two hundred inches of the water running in the stream known as Davis Creek to be measured under a four inch pressure for purposes of irrigation to be used on the possessory claims of the said claimants, situated near the present traveled road running in a north and south direction and on the East side of Goose Lake Valley in the County of Siskiyou. Dated at Goose Lake Valley, this 30th day of October, A.D. 1872. Joseph Even. Luke Hultkey, Claimants.
