Know all men by these presents, that I Chas. R. Parker, of Hot Spring Valley, Modoc County, State of California, have this day located and appropriated and do claim for the purposes of irrigation and agriculture five hundred (500) inches (measured under a four inch pressure) of the waters flowing in Parker Creek in said Valley, County and State. Said ditch was made by me in 1870 and has been used continuously to the present date. I further give notice that I claim all the waters leading down the Black John Gulch and will convey the same by means of furrows upon my Ranch as above described. Dated May 31st, 1875. C.R. Parker.
