Notice: Notice is hereby given to all persons that we, Lewis W. Harris and Ephraim C. Lyons, residents of Hot Spring Valley, South Fork Township, County of Modoc and State of California, have this day located and appropriated for irrigation and domestic purposes, also for watering stock, one thousand (1000) inches of the water flowing in Pine Creek, situated in said Valley, Township, and County and State aforesaid. Said water to be conveyed by means of a ditch 42 inches wide and 24 inches deep from this point westerly through the Ranch now claimed by and Ephraim C. Lyons, on to the S.E. W 1/2 of N.W. 1/4 Sec 31, Twp 42, R.13 E. Dated Feb. 16th 1875. L.W. Harris. E.C. Lyons. Filed for record at request of L.W. Harris this 20th day of February A.D. 1875 at 49 Min past eleven o'clock A.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder. Recorded February 20th A.D. 1875 at 18 Min past one o'clock P.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
