Transcription
Know all men by these presents, that we, George A. Follansbee and Owen D.F. Johnson of South Fork Township, County of Modoc and State of California, have this day appropriated and claim for the purposes of irrigation, six hundred inches, measured under a four inch pressure, of the water flowing in Pine Creek in said Township County and State. Said water to be conveyed by means of a ditch three feet wide and two feet deep, and running from the point at which this notice is posted, in the southwest quarter of Sec 29, Twp 42 R.13 E. and in a northeasterly direction through the S1/2 and NE1/4 of Sec 21, on to the land claimed and owned by us. Dated April 22nd, 1875. Geo. A. Follansbee. O.D.F. Johnson. Filed for record at request of Geo A. Follansbee this 25th day of April A.D. 1875. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
