Know all men by these presents, that I Thomas Fogarty of South Fork Township, County of Modoc, State of California, have this day appropriated and claimed for the purposes of irrigation five hundred (500) inches (measured under a four inch pressure) of the water flowing on Parker Creek, said Creek being in aforesaid Township, County and State. And I further give notice that I intend to convey the said water from this point by means of a ditch three feet wide and two feet deep and running in a northwesterly direction from point of beginning on to and through my land. Dated May 1st A.D. 1875. T. Fogarty. Filed for record May 1st A.D. 1875. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
