Daniel Arthur. Water Right. Surprise Valley Siskiyou County, California May 8th 1872. Know all men by these presents That I Daniel Arthur have located a water ditch sufficiently large to carry two hundred inches of water, the water to be taken out of Own Creek in said surprise Valley and to be used for irrigation the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of section Twenty-five (25) Township forty-one (41) North and range sixteen (16) East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian containing 160 acres.
