Know all men by these presents that I Middleton Anderson of Surprise Valley Modoc County California claim two hundred (200) inches of water under a four inch pressure of the water running in Cottonwood Creek Surprise Valley... at a point where... Big Cottonwood for the purpose of irrigating the SW half of SW, the N half of the SW of Section 23 and the S half of the SE of Section 21 all in Township 41 North of Range 16 East Mount Diablo Meridian.
