Notice is hereby given, that I, the undersigned, a resident citizen of the County of Modoc, State of California, do hereby claim forty (40) inches of the surplus waters here flowing in this stream commonly known and called 'OWL CREEK', for the purpose of irrigating and reclaiming the SW/4 of NW/4 of sec. 34, Tp.41 N., R 16 east M.D.M.
