Know all men by these presents, that I Thomas L. Weetlake of Hot Spring Valley, County of Modoc, State of California, have this day claimed and appropriated, and do hereby claim and appropriate for the purpose of irrigation, one hundred and fifty (150) inches measured under a four inch pressure of the waters flowing in Pitt River within said County.
