Notes: Hot Spring Valley. Flume: 2 feet high, 4 feet wide for 4 rods. Then ditch: 2 feet wide, 8 inches deep, south side of river, southwesterly. Diversion about 300 yards NE of SE corner of claim. Range reads '16' but Hot Spring Valley + Pitt River suggests likely R10E. Attested by N. FitzGerald. Dated February 20, 1877.
