Notes: MASSIVE Sand Creek claim — 5,000 miners inches on WEST BRANCH of Sand Creek! The EIGHTH claimant(s) on Sand Creek system in T43N R17E, and by far the second-largest after Fox's 10,000. Cedarville Township lands. LARGE ditch: 8 ft wide, 4 ft deep — 'or larger if necessary.' B.F. Boggs and C.S. Warren — two partners. Posted Aug 17, 1914. Filed at request of B.F. Boggs & C.S. Warren, Aug 19. Same filing date as Carpenter/Potter claim. TOTAL Sand Creek claims now exceed 16,000 inches — far more water claimed than the creek could possibly provide.
