Conduct in 'southerly' direction (corrected to 'easterly' by hand) about 1 mile to homestead. Witnesses R.H. Wells, John Fitzhugh (family — brother?). Dated Sept 12, 1911. 'Mroth' is an unusual middle name. T40N R11E is in western Modoc County.
