Notes: COMPETING CLAIM with Jesse M. Allenwood (page 163, filed Jan 26, 1911) — SAME spring in Pest House Canon, same legal description (near SE corner of SW/4 of NE/4 Sec 31, T43N R16E). Allenwood has filing priority by 2 months. Westervelt claims more land (160 acres vs Allenwood's 80 acres) and irrigates different quarter-sections. Divert from north bank 1/2 mile from land, conduct easterly 1/2 mile. Notarized by R.H. Stanley, Modoc County Notary Public. Witness R.H. Stanley. Claims ALL water. Dated March 30, 1911.
