Notice of Water Claim & Reservoir Site. Notice is hereby given that I T. Hughes of the County of Modoc and State of California do hereby locate four hundred inches measured under a four inch pressure of the water flowing or of the water that I may hereafter cause to flow from that certain non navigable lake situated in said Modoc County... known as or called Emerson Lake...
Notes: Major lake reservoir claim spanning 3 pages. Dam 12 ft high at outlet. Tunnel 60 in wide taps 5 ft below low water. Claims entire lake bed plus 10 ft above high water as reservoir.
