John Tuckel of Hot Spring Valley have this day appropriated and do claim for the purposes of irrigation all of the waste water from Canyon Creek, not exceeding 8 inches, emptying into Rees Slough, conveyed by ditch built by J.P. Rees. Also all the waste water from the John Free ditch, not exceeding 6 inches, conveyed by ditches built by I.P. Reece and myself in year 1872. Dated July 22nd A.D. 1876. John Tuckel, Claimant.
