Know all men by these present that I have this day located and claimed two hundred inches of water, measured under a four inch pressure, for domestic and irrigating purposes. Said water to be taken out of Bull Creek on Surprise Valley, County of Modoc, State of California, at a point where it enters my premises, the same being the land hereinafter described, and at divers other places within the land herein described. Said ditch first channel being eighteen inches wide & twelve inches deep; each of the other ditches to be twelve inches wide & ten inches deep. Said land aforementioned and upon which the said water is to be used is described as follows to-wit: Brown S.W. 1/4 of N.E. 1/4 and E 1/2 of S.E. 1/4 Sec 25 Township 45 North, Range 15 East and Lot 4 of S.W. 1/4 of Sec 30 on Township 45 North Range 16 East, Mount Diablo Meridian. Dated at Lake City, Cal. May 26th 1874. William Ford. At request of C.F. Harris filed for record this 1st day of June A.D. 1874 at 10 minutes past nine o'clock A.M. and recorded this 17th day of July A.D. 1874 at 5 minutes past nine o'clock A.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
