Transcription
A.J. Davis of Glover Swail, Modoc County, California, claim all of the waters of the Creek emptying out below Swail on Sections 10, 11 and 14, T42N R10 East, to the extent of one hundred inches. I appropriated the same by ditch and notice on the 25th day of April 1873. I also claim the right to use said water on my swamp known as Davis Swamp about four miles North. Dated August 19th, 1876. A.J. Davis. [Sworn affidavit included]
