Know all men by these presents that I Marx Gowdy of Modoc County State of California have on this 17th day of July A.D. 1877 claimed and located sixty five (65) inches to be measured under a four inch pressure of the water here flowing in the East Branch of Hot Creek for purposes of irrigation... Section 32... Township North of Range 10 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.
