Notes: SECOND Cow Head/Pelican Lake claim filed SAME DAY as Ayers! 40,000 inches. Lake described as 26.5 ft deep, ~5 billion cubic feet. Dam 30 ft high (vs Ayers's 35 ft). Same tunnel/ditch system — nearly identical delivery infrastructure described. POWER purpose included — Ayers did not claim power. Diversion in Sec 32, T47N R17E (provides township). Dated Feb 6, 1914. Filed Feb 7 — same day as Ayers. Coordinated claims? Or competing? Both use same L.S. Smith filer... Wait, Ketner files at own request. Witness A.F. Ketner (witnesses himself?).
