Know all men by these presents that I have this day located and claimed one hundred inches of water under a four inch pressure to be taken out of Soldier Creek at the Monument being on the N.E. 1/4 of N.E. 1/4 of Sec 7 Township 45 North Range 16 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, for the purpose of irrigation to be used upon N.E. 1/4 of S.E. 1/4 and N 1/2 of S.W. 1/4 of Sec of Township 43 North Range 16 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. And I have also taken this same at this day by ditch 18 inches deep by 4 feet wide and conduct it in an easterly direction through an old channel from this point. Done this 27th day of May 1874. C.F. Harris. Filed for record at request of C.F. Harris this 1st day of June A.D. 1874 at 11 minutes past nine o'clock A.M. and recorded this 17th day of July A.D. 1874 at 23 minutes past nine o'clock A.A. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
