Notes: UNIQUE diversion method — 300-foot TUNNEL to intercept both surface springs AND subterranean water flows. Then only 1-inch diameter iron pipe to convey water — extremely small pipe for 50 inches, suggests limited actual flow expected. Notice posted 300 ft easterly from east line of NE/4 of NW/4 Sec 12. Dated Sept 22, 1910. T47N R14E is in the Goose Lake area of northern Modoc County.
