Notice. Notice is hereby given that I the undersigned claim 1000 inches of the surplus waters of the Pit River stream to be held in a reservoir on the NW quarter of Sec 1 Tp 43 North Range 13 E MDHM and I hereby claim said tract of land for reservoir purposes. Said water will be conducted by the natural channel of Pit River to my ditch, the head of which is near the center of Sec 11 Tp and Range aforesaid, thence in said ditch onto Secs 6, 7 & 8 Tp 42 N R 13 E MDHM for the purposes of manufacturing irrigation and domestic use. Said water to be held in place by a dam to be erected at or near this notice twenty five feet high and extending from bluff to bluff.
