Notice: Notice is hereby given that I, John S. Doten, have this day claimed and appropriated for the purpose of irrigation, one hundred (100) inches (measured under a four inch pressure) of the waters flowing in Fitzhugh Creek, located in South Fork Township, Modoc County, California. Said water is to be taken out of said Creek in Section 29, Twp 41 N. R.13 E. at the old Doten dam and conveyed thence in a south and westerly direction through Section 31 Twp 41 N. R.13 E. on to the 30th Section, Twp 41 N. R.12 E. by means of a ditch eighteen (18) inches wide and twenty four (24) inches deep. Dated April 12th, 1875. John S. Doten. Filed for record at request of Jno. S. Doten April 12th A.D. 1875, at 39 Min past two o'clock P.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder. Recorded April 13th A.D. 1875 at 51 Min past nine o'clock A.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
