Mapes, of Alturas, County of Modoc, State of California, hereby appropriates and claims water, more particularly flood water to the extent of 3000 miners inches of water flowing into Porcupine Valley at or near where this notice is posted in the NE 1/4 of sec.1 T. 43 N. of R. 10 E. M.D.B. & M.
