NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION OF WATER. NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned claims and have appropriated for irrigation purposes 5000 inches of water measured under a four inch pressure flowing in crooks Canyon during the flood season.

Notes: TWO co-claimants. 5,000 inches flood water from Crooks Canyon — NOT Crooks Creek (Fitzhugh's claims). Two-stage conveyance: first a very WIDE shallow ditch (16 ft top, 14 ft bottom, 1 ft deep) to dam/reservoir, then smaller ditch (4x3x1 ft) from reservoir to fields.
