NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the provisions of the laws of the state of california respecting water rights, the undersigned has appropriated and hereby claims two hundred inches of water flowing in a small creek rising in Sec 31 Tp 48 N R 15 E and flowing westerly into Sec 36 Tp 48 N R 14 E.

Rectangular ditch (3 ft top = 3 ft bottom — unusual, most taper). 'Irrigation and raising of crops' — agricultural emphasis. T48N is extreme northern Modoc County near Oregon border (same as Parman's Ten Mile/Twelve Mile Creek claims). Witnesses Ellen Dick, Elsie Converse (family member). Dated Sept 25, 1913. Filed Oct 1.
