Know all men by these presents, that I George Samuels of Modoc County, have this day located and appropriated and do claim for the purposes of irrigation and for general domestic uses, two hundred (200) inches (measured under a four inch pressure) of the waters flowing in the Horse Creek, situated in aforesaid County. Said water to be diverted at this point by means of a dam, and to be conveyed by means of a ditch, thirty inches wide and eighteen inches deep; said ditch running northerly and westerly. Range 11 E. Mt. D.B.M. Dated June 15th, 1875. George Samuels.
