Water Claim. Know all men by these presents that I Thomas J. Lee of Surprise Valley, County of Modoc State of California, have this day claimed and located and do hereby locate and claim for the purpose of irrigation of the North half of the Southeast fourth and the North half of the Southwest fourth Section twenty nine Township forty two North Range fifteen East Mt. Diable base and meridian, fifty (50) inches measured under a four (4) inch pressure of the water of Smith Creek, water to be taken from said Creek at the mouth of the Canyon to be run through an old ditch that now runs across said land east and west.
