Matchmaking Modes
DUPR-Weighted Swiss
Best for mixed skill groups. Pairs by DUPR rating with adjustments based on how players are actually performing that day.
Swiss
Tournament-style. Ignores skill ratings and pairs players with similar win/loss records. Great for brackets.
Random
Pure variety. Random matchups each round for casual play when skill levels are similar.
The Details
- The system avoids pairing the same two players as teammates when possible
- Players can be added or removed mid-session
- Standings are based on session results, not DUPR
- In DUPR mode, 1 rating point equals 6 wins in pairing weight
- Odd player counts are handled automatically with fair sit-outs
