NOTICE. Is hereby given to all those whom it may concern that we the undersigned claim all the water running in a small creek which runs into Little Hot Spring Valley situated in Siskiyou County and in the State of California and runs into the said Valley at a point at or near the line between the ranches of Calvin Hall and C.A. Bancroft of said Valley. We claim the water of the above described creek for irrigating and other purposes and it is agreed and we do hereby agree to divide the water of said creek at a point where the line between our ranches intersects the Main channel of said Creek and that each one of us shall have the free use and control of one half of all the water running in said creek to his use and benefit.

They claim ALL water in unnamed creek running into Little Hot Spring Valley and agree to SPLIT IT 50/50 at their property line. One of the EARLIEST recorded water-sharing agreements in the region.
