BEFORE THE WATER COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. no. 1042. In the matter of application Wm J. and P.S. Dorris to appropriate unappropriated waters of the state of california. Answer to protest of William Cantrall. Come the above named applicant and for answer to the protest of William Cantrall, filed in the above proceeding, alleged and aver as follows: 1, That the said William Cantrall has some undeterminate right in the flow of the water of Pine creek, that are prior to this application but that it is not and was not the purpose of this applicants to seek to appropriate any waters flowing in said Pine creek, to which the said William Cantrall had become entitled prior to the date of the filing of this application or of application No. 760 of these applicants heretofore filed with the water commission of the state of california.
