State Database (eWRIMS)

Not in state DB

This water right does not appear in California's eWRIMS database. The holder likely has not filed a Statement of Diversion and Use with the State Water Resources Control Board. Pre-1914 rights are only in eWRIMS if holders voluntarily filed — many have not, making these rights less visible to the state.

Notes: Leland claim #2 of 2 (marked 'B + C' at top). CASCADING RESERVOIR system — sophisticated engineering. Upper reservoir (Sec 11/12) feeds lower reservoir (Sec 13) via 20-inch pipe and natural channel, which in turn feeds irrigated lands via another 20-inch pipe and wider natural channel. Natural channels of increasing width (12-20 ft upper, 20-30 ft lower) serve as conveyance. Same witness N.D. Mapes, same date Feb 19, 1912. Filed at request of C.W. Mapes.
