Fort Bidwell, california December 30, 1911. T.H. Foreman, of Fort Bidwell, county of modoc, state of california, who being first duly sworn, deposes and says; that on the first day of october 1911, two men worked one day on the ditch belonging to the Bidwell Discovery Gold Mining company, and taken the west fork creek.

Foreman (one of the Kafader family co-claimants, page 170) testifies: Oct 1, 1911 — two men worked 1 day on ditch, turned water from West Fork Creek; Dec 6-7 — Foreman worked on ditch again, extended to arastra; Dec 7 — ran water wheel on arastra with ditch water.
