Know all men by these presents that we the undersigned company of Siskiyou Co., California have this day taken up under the mining laws of the State of California all the Water and Timber on Soldier Creek for milling and mining purposes, from the mouth of the canyon up the creek and also claim what Waters a certain ditch will carry for irrigating purposes known as the Tate and Cook ditch and used by them Since the 1st of April 1855.
