AMENDED Notice of Appropriation of Water Section 1410 to 1422. all waters flowing into or contained in that certain lake known as Pelican or Cow Head Lake, in Modoc County, California, being about 5,000,000,000 cubic feet of water.
Notes: AMENDED Notice — Cowhead Lake claim #16. Key changes from original filings: dam height INCREASED from 20 ft to 26.5 ft, water volume increased from 3,110,790,000 to 5,000,000,000 cubic feet. Dam to be 'built thirty feet in heighth' storing to 26.5 ft. Signed by C.H. Fenner, president. Witness A.B. Rich. Same tunnel scheme. Recorded at request of Geo. H. Ayres Dec 23, 1909. The corporate entity now formally amending the scheme upward.
