Not in state DB
This water right does not appear in California's eWRIMS database. The holder likely has not filed

only in eWRIMS if holders voluntarily filed — many have not, making these rights less visible to the state.

NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION OF WATER SECTIONS, 1410 to 1422. does appropriate twenty feet in depth being about 3,110,700,000 cubic feet of water, all waters flowing or contained in that certain lake known as 'Cow Head' lake in Modoc, California.
Notes: Cowhead Lake claim #9 — ENORMOUS 40,000 miner's inches claimed! 3,110,700,000 cubic feet (vs 3,110,790,000 in Smith claim — slight discrepancy). Dam to 20 feet height (vs 12 feet in Smith's claim). Same tunnel scheme to Alkali Lake. Witness Giles F. Munroe (likely related to earlier Munroe claimants). Recorded at request of Geo. H. Ayres. Harold Miles new to the group but part of same coordinated effort.
