NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION OF WATER. Cal. C.C., Secs. 1410-1422. NOTICE IS HEREBY given that, accordance with the provisions of the laws of the state of California respecting water rights, the undersigned has appropriated and hereby claims ---- inches of water, flowing in bidwell creek in the town of Fort Bidwell in the county of Modoc, State of California, measured under a four inch pressure.
Notes: Amount left BLANK (---- inches). Filed under Cal. Civil Code Secs 1410-1422. Claimant is female ('she has diverted'). Likely wife of D.H. Schadler who filed earlier (page 4). Diversion from western bank 275 feet from north side of North Street, Town of Fort Bidwell. Flume and ditch completed, water turned in April 25, 1908. Very small scale — 5-inch wide flume suggests garden/household irrigation. Witness A.F. Lewis.
