State Database (eWRIMS)

Not in state DB

This water right does not appear in California's eWRIMS database. The holder likely has not filed a Statement of Diversion and Use with the State Water Resources Control Board. Pre-1914 rights are only in eWRIMS if holders voluntarily filed — many have not, making these rights less visible to the state.

Notes: LANDMARK CLAIM - largest and most complex in Book 1. Three claimants including JOHN E. RAKER (later U.S. Congressman from California, 1911-1926, author of the Raker Act granting Hetch Hetchy to San Francisco). R.D. DORRIS CLAIM #8 (combined total now approaches 70,000+ inches across 8 filings). FEDERALLY APPROVED reservoir site. Purposes include 'SALE AND DISTRIBUTION' - essentially a water utility/irrigation district plan. Connected to Deed of Nov 10, 1902 (Liber 19 of Deeds). Route: East Gun Creek → reservoir → past Emmigrant Springs → Mud Lake → irrigated lands. ~79 sections of use lands. R.D. Dorris posted the notice; John E. Raker filed for recording.
