State of California, County of Siskiyou. Know all men by these presents that We L.E. Henderson, J.A. Glidden, G.W. Wills, A. Hammersley, W.H. Witt and N.O. Bissell all of Goose Lake Valley in the County of Siskiyou and State of California have claimed and located Four hundred (400) inches of the water running in Pine Creek in Goose Lake Valley... Survey commencing at a point on the South Bank of said Pine Creek immediately below Robinson's Mill Dam and running thence in a South Westerly direction across the possessory claims... Water Claim was more fully established by the commencement of a Water Ditch four feet wide and eighteen inches deep... quiet and undisturbed possession since the 1st day of August A.D. 1871.
