South Fork Township. Creek about ten miles east of Ranches, supplied by springs, runs northerly and empties into South Fork of Pit River, crossing a wood road about 300 yards before emptying. Ditch four (4) feet wide and two (2) feet deep, taken out of creek about a half mile about its mouth.

Notice: Know all men by these presents that we do this day claim and appropriate to our own use five hundred (500) inches of water (measured under a four inch pressure) flowing in a certain Creek, commonly Known as Warm Creek, about ten miles east of our Ranches. Said Creek is supplied with water from a number of springs, and runs northerly and empties into South Fork of Pit River, crossing a wood-road about 300 yards before emptying. Said water to be used for irrigating purposes on each of our Ranches, and to be conveyed by a ditch, taken out of said Creek about a half mile about its mouth; the ditch being already made for about a mile. Said ditch to be four (4) feet wide and two (2) feet deep. Dated at South Fork Township, January 30th, 1875. John D. Flournoy. A.F. Trimbo. Filed for record at request of J.D.
