Notes: SISKIYOU COUNTY TRANSCRIPTION. Original ditch built February 1866 - one of the earliest water claims in the records. Ditch was 5 feet wide and 2 feet deep at mouth. Claims constant and peaceable possession from 1866 to present (1877). Certified by Joseph Rice, County Recorder of Siskiyou County. Recorded under Austin Hawkins, Recorder, by F.B. Hogeboom, Deputy.
