Notes: Purchased water rights with Davis D. Hoyt estate. Having entered agreement with A. Deets, claims the ditch and also constructs new ditch tapping main channel of Myrtle Creek below where the present main traveled road leading from Wilder Rancho to [?] crosses said creek. Ditch of sufficient capacity for 100 inches. Dated February 17 1877 (or 1879).
