Notice — To all whom it may concern that I have this 14th day of July, A.D. 1874, claimed and appropriated (300) three hundred inches of water from the South Branch of Pine Creek, situated in Modoc County, California, on the East side of Goose Lake Valley, which I design to use for the purpose of irrigating the North half of the North west quarter including fractions on the State line, of Sec 24 Township (45) and Range (14); commencing my ditch about thirty five yards west of the east line of the above described land, on the south side of said Pine Creek, and of the size of three feet wide and one foot deep, to have and to control as my individual property. Given under my hand the day and year first written. Eli C. Mason. Filed for Record this 20th day of July A.D. 1874 at 5 minutes past 12 M. at request of E.C. Mason and recorded this 21st day of July A.D. 1874 at 5 minutes past Eight o'clock A.M. N. FitzGerald, Recorder.
