Beaver Creek, Modoc Co. Cal. Oct 20th 1877. Know all men by these presents that I Milan Stewart have this day laid claim to one hundred inches of water measured under four inch pressure flowing from Beaver Creek Springs. The water to be conveyed in a ditch fourteen inches wide and two inches deep and taken out at a point one hundred yards below the Spring situated in the S NW quarter of the NW quarter Section 11 T45 N R 10 E Mt Diablo Meridian.
