Notice is hereby given that the undersigned claims the water here flowing out of the Cedar Creek Canyon into Surprise Valley to the extent of two hundred inches (200 inches) for the purpose of irrigation and domestic use on his homestead, to convey the water, occupied by him, intends to convey the water from this point of diversion by a ditch to wide (2 1/2) feet deep and 3 feet wide. Cedarville, California. July 7th, 1874. Julien Gronchamp. Filed for Record at request of H.J.
